P[h]assion 2011 Photos

The models looked gorgeous in m3s! The show was so much fun- I loved the Alice in Wonderland-inspired accessories and music, and the dance performances were incredible. The girls at P[h]assion definitely know how to put on a show.

Thanks to my photographer boyfriend, Jonathan Brunette!

And since some of the skirts and dresses are cut off, here are the full-length photos from the fittings.

A sneak peek at my P[h]assion 2011 looks

Here are a few photos from my model fittings. These are just two of the seven looks I put in the show- a cotton/silk tiered minidress and a sheer chiffon maxi skirt (which I am obsessed with!). I can't wait to see everything on the runway tomorrow.

UNICORN online store

Yay! Unicorn- which is, in my opinion, the chicest boutique in Montreal- now has an online store! This is wonderful news for those of you outside the city who would love to benefit from Unicorn's fantastic selection of hand-picked Canadian designer items.

P[h]assion 2011

I'm presenting my Spring-Summer 2011 collection at P[h]assion this week! Come see Mes Trois Soeurs on the runway this Thursday, March 10 at 10pm at Koko Bar (8 Sherbrooke Ouest).

This will be my fifth year being involved with P[h]assion- I started back in my modeling days, and a year later it became the first show to present one of my collections. Not only is it a great cause, supporting AIDS Community Care Montreal, but it's also always a really entertaining event. This year's theme is Through the Looking Glass and I'm sure they won't disappoint. Manuella Djuric, an organizer and friend of mine, writes,

Models this year will bring an innovative twist to the regular fashion show as different stages of the show, demonstrated by erratic makeup and hair styles along with the couture will represent Alice’s fantasy journey.

Fun! I'm so excited about the looks I'm presenting. I'm showcasing my latest obsessions- sheer florals, and maxi length. I wonder what part of Alice's journey m3s will represent...

You can see details and RSVP to the facebook event here.

My favourite vacation dresses

I went to Varadero, Cuba a few weeks ago with a group of friends to escape the Montreal winter. I LOVE packing for southern vacations- I'm so sick of sweaters, and I could not have been happier to wear these beautiful new Mes Trois Soeurs dresses!

This dress is reversible! One side is a solid and the other is a print.

My very first wedding dress

The lovely and very talented Liz Furlong of http://www.lizlipstick.com/ asked me if I could lend her a wedding dress for a photoshoot. I decided to combine a few elements of previous dresses I'd made, and I constructed this beauty! It's been getting a lot of attention, and I've already received orders for variations of it as a wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, and prom dresses. At $148 it's quite the steal! If you're interested in a customized version of this dress- a different colour, length, neckline, etc- visit my Etsy shop or send me an email to kimberly@mestroissoeurs.com!

Thanks, TNK Vintage!

Thank you for the sweet post, Tomorrow Never Knows!

I love how they've layered the scarves- they look fantastic worn together. I can't wait to visit this shop in person when I'm in Toronto in January!!
